Data Portal

PCIC is currently developing a new online tool for improving access to the large amounts of climate and hydrological data it collects through applied research projects in Hydrologic Impacts, Regional Climate Impacts and Climate Analysis and Monitoring. A beta version of the tool will be available from this page in May 2012.

The PCIC Data Portal will provide access to observed time series of temperature, precipitation, and other variables for British Columbia extending more than a century into the past. In partnership with the BC Ministry of Environment and other ministries and provincial climate stakeholders under the province’s Climate Related Monitoring Program (CRMP), PCIC has agreed to manage and distribute this data for the benefit of CRMP members and the public.
