Marie Whibley

Assistant Programmer (Co-op)

Marie Whibley has joined PCIC for the summer as an Assistant Programmer with the Computational Support Group. Her work at PCIC is focused on building software and technology as part of the multi-institutional collaborative Data Analytics for Canadian Climate Services (DACCS) project, funded by a Canada Foundation for Innovation Cyberinfrastructure grant.

Marie is completing her BSc in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science at the University of Victoria, during which she has done work terms with The Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental Test Ranges, Environment and Climate Change Canada, and now PCIC.

Outside of school and work, Marie enjoys spending her free time outdoors, playing games, or eating good food with family and friends.
