New PCIC Strategic Plan for 2021-2025

PCIC is pleased to announce the release of its latest Strategic Plan, for the 2021-2025 period. This plan was developed in consultation with external and internal stakeholders and staff to ensure that PCIC’s work is directed toward meeting the needs of its users.  The new Strategic Plan document lays out PCIC’s mission, service objectives and strategic goals. It outlines the scope of PCIC’s work, focused on Canada’s Pacific and Yukon regions, where PCIC provides climate services to the general public, organisations, regional stakeholders and peers. It also describes some of the ongoing projects at PCIC aimed at meeting these goals, including the provision of climate data and tools, PCIC’s research on quantifying climate change impacts, and PCIC’s ongoing user training and education activities.
