Dr. Diana Allen (PhD from Carleton University) is professor of hydrogeology in the department of earth sciences at Simon Fraser University and an expert member of UNESCO’s GRAPHIC (Groundwater Resources under the Pressures of Humanity and Climate Change) programme.

Dr. Karen Bakker (PhD from Oxford University) is professor, Canada Research Chair, and director of the Program on Water Governance at the University of British Columbia. Named one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 in 2011.
